Sarah Xuelian Li
Registered Massage Therapist
RMT
Sarah is a Registered Massage Therapist with a clinical background that spans massage therapy, acupuncture, and nursing. She brings a rehabilitation-focused approach to care, with experience working with patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and persistent musculoskeletal concerns.
Her approach begins with understanding how pain or injury is affecting the patient’s movement and everyday function. She uses assessment findings, patient feedback, and treatment goals to guide each appointment and adapts treatment as the patient’s condition changes over time.
Sarah’s massage therapy treatments may incorporate therapeutic massage, deep tissue techniques, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, with techniques and pressure selected according to individual needs and tolerance. She also provides education and self-care guidance when appropriate to support recovery outside the treatment room.
In addition to being an RMT, Sarah is a Registered Acupuncturist and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). Her broader healthcare background contributes to a thoughtful and structured approach to patient communication, assessment, and care.
Sarah particularly enjoys working with patients who are recovering from injury, managing persistent muscular discomfort, or looking to improve their ability to move and function more comfortably in everyday life.
At Main Street RMT & Wellness Clinic, Sarah provides individualized massage therapy as part of the clinic’s multidisciplinary team, with treatment guided by each patient’s presentation, comfort, and goals.
