Registered Massage Therapist
RMT
Kate has been practicing as an RMT since 2014. Her clinical strength is deep tissue work, but what regular patients tend to notice first is how she reads a body before she touches it — the way someone is sitting, where they're guarding, what they're not saying out loud. She adjusts her approach session by session rather than running the same protocol twice.
She's a quiet practitioner. She'll ask a few questions, then let you talk. Patients often say they end up explaining things they didn't know they were going to bring up — usually because she actually waits long enough for the real answer to surface.
Across more than a decade of practice, Kate has worked in clinical, rehabilitation, and high-end spa environments, which means she's comfortable with everyone from chronic-pain patients tracking specific outcomes to people who just need an hour where nothing is asked of them. She moves between those modes without losing the clinical edge.
Alongside deep tissue, Kate offers gentle, lymphatic-style techniques as part of a holistic wellness approach — useful for general recovery, post-travel puffiness, post-workout flushing, or anyone who finds traditional deep work too intense that day. This is a wellness offering, not lymphedema treatment.
She works well with patients who want to feel better, but also want to understand why something is happening in their body.
