Kammy Chan is a Registered Psychotherapist with over 15 years of post-master’s experience in psychology and social work. She brings a calm, thoughtful, and compassionate presence to her work, supporting individuals and families through emotional challenges, life transitions, and periods of uncertainty.
Kammy’s clinical background spans diverse cultural and community settings, with extensive experience supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship stress, parenting challenges, and adjustment to major life changes. She works collaboratively with each individual, taking time to understand their experiences, values, and goals, and tailoring care to meet them where they are.
Her therapeutic approach is client-centred and strengths-based, integrating evidence-informed modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
When appropriate, she also incorporates play-based and art-based approaches, particularly when working with younger clients. Kammy values creating a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward at a pace that feels right for them.
Kammy is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and is experienced in working within multicultural contexts. She welcomes adolescents (ages 10+) and adults seeking support with emotional well-being, personal growth, and navigating life’s challenges.
