COVID-19 Protocols

Health and safety are our top priorities here at Main Street Wellness Clinic. We maintain a safe environment for our clients and staff. Our COVID-19 protocols and procedures meet or exceed requirements set by regulatory bodies in Ontario (CMTO, Ministry of Health, Health Canada, etc.). The following procedures help us ensure the health and safety of you and your therapist.

How we keep you safe:

  • Daily Health Screenings

    • All patients are required to complete the covid prescreen before the appointment, we sent out the email 12hrs before your sessions.

  • Training in Infection Prevention and Control

    • Our Registered Massage Therapists have completed IPAC Core Competencies which are basic skills and knowledge all Ontario healthcare workers are required to have.

  • Hand Hygiene

    • Along with proper hand washing techniques, therapists may also use nitrile gloves.

    • Hand Sanitizers authorized by Health Canada are available.

  • Sanitation Strategies

    • Client contact items are cleaned and disinfected between each client.

    • Commonly touched areas are cleaned and disinfected regularly or whenever visibly required.

How you can keep us safe:

“Clinic Treatments”

1. Submit a COVID-19 screening questionnaire on the day of the appointment (this will be provided through the booking system, and an email will be sent to you automatically). We will void cancellation fees if patients are sick due to Covid.

2. Updated June 13, 2022,  patients wearing masks are not mandatory anymore, however in our clinic, we strongly recommend our patients wear them during treatment.

3. Wash or sanitize your hands before and after your treatment.
